Once again I spoke to someone who was afraid to bake because they would need to measure...you don't have to measure! What I mean by that is yes I have a cup measure and spoon measures, but I don't weigh anything. I am not obsessive about whether or not I use a cup of flour or a bit more. I never measure chocolate chips for the cookies. If you can cook savory food you can bake! I know you must have used a teaspoon measure right? And you probably taste as you go; do the same with baking! And texture of gravy or sauces is exactly how I determine if my cake, cookies or brownies need more dry or wet ingredients. The great thing about baking is I never met someone who wouldn't spoon a mushy warm brownie out of a pan!
So go ahead you never know you might be the next world phenomenon.
